Multiport® Manifold Sets
For Better Patient Care
Our manifold sets focus on safe and accurate infusion therapy delivery with minimal priming volumes and high flow rates. Our full product line includes various tubing sizes, rigid and flexible variations, and component options to ensure your patients are kept safe.
IV Manifolds
Six Ports, One Flow
The Multiport® manifold offers six ports, 7 gravity-activated check valves, and an on/off pinch clamp. It is designed to mitigate risk and increase the efficiency of patient care with:
- A closed system designed to reduce the chance of contamination, maintaining a sterile environment1
- Q2® fluid delivery systems that are configured to simplify the delivery of medications
- Straight, direct fluid pathways for optimum flushing
- Low residual volume/dead space
- Neutral fluid displacement when attaching and detaching
- Q2® check valves ensuring one-way fluid delivery of medication to the patient, preventing retrograde flow
Controlling Infection Rates
With Q2® Engineering
Q2® split septum needle-free connectors assist in meeting the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard by providing engineering controls which isolate or remove the hazard of bloodborne pathogen exposure from the workplace. These engineering controls coupled with work practice controls aid in eliminating or minimizing exposure which conform with paragraph (d)(2)(i) in OSHA’s Methods of Compliance. 29 CFR 1910.1030, December 1991.
Lyka® PORT Needlefree Access Device for Hemodialysis
Uniquely designed for use in hemodialysis, the Lyka® PORT2 brings engineering excellence to patient care, safety, and performance. The Lyka® PORT needlefree access device utilizes split septum technology with low dead space, and is fully flushable to reduce infection risk. The CDC recommends split septum valves over mechanical valves in needleless systems to reduce infection risk. The Lyka® PORT features an open fluid path, delivering ultra-high flow rates and enhanced safety for hemodialysis patients3.
